Here Comes the Sun !

As the sun changes directions and starts its annual trip back to the Northern Hemisphere, all Himalayan stalwarts and wannabes alike get antsy and start to review their climbing and trekking gear. Can I get another season out of those boots? Are these shades dark enough for the snow's glare? What am I gonna tell my girlfriend? Such weighty considerations!

               Money!!

      Oh shit, forgot that!!

Himalayan Mountain Photography                     Poster Sale

Help send this naive New Jerseyite photographer back to the high Himalaya to make more historic, romantic images of God's most dramatic landscape by buying a giclee printed, limited edition poster!

This is a unique image, no one else has photo- graphed Sagarmatha, aka Mt Everest, from this viewpoint or with the high res 8x10"photo  format (see blog post for full story). This image is the current defining photo of the world's tallest mountain offered worldwide by Getty Images. Search wherever you can but you will find no better photo than this. I searched over ten years to locate this perspective.
